This is what we are seeing all across the industry; day after day new emails from vendor's telling us that their prices are rising, every order we make for materials needs to be revised because the last price is no longer valid, and for good reason. The cost of steel materials has been steadily increasing throughout 2020, and it unfortunately has not slowed into 2021. The reduced capacities of companies in this industry due to Covid-19 health and safety regulations continues to have an impact. As a result, we are forced to increase our list pricing for 2021 and add a steel surcharge to off-set the rising costs that is projected to continue this year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have on our close and prospective customers. We we will do what we can to keep our prices low when the opportunities are found, but right now we are left with little options.

Eterra Skid Steer Auger Attachment
Description
What makes a great skid steer auger attachment? Eterra has dedicated over twenty years to answering this question. If you have used augers on your skid steer loader in the past, then you may be well versed in what to expect. You will likely start with the basic features that give it the ability to do the job it was originally intended to do. The auger drive should be strong enough to power through the tough, unseen elements below the surface. It should be durable enough to withstand a lot of back-force and it should last you for many years to come.
That’s great! The Eterra Skid Steer Auger can accommodate you for these purposes. But why stop there? Each Eterra unit comes with a standard swivel and mount that easily attaches to the Eterra 2 Rail Plate. It also features a standard main hanger, with the option to upgrade to the Eterra Flip Hitch, or Cement Mixing System. This is where Eterra's skid steer auger attachment starts to deviate from the status quo and sets it apart from the competition. The Flip Hitch allows you to use your auger for a couple of different operations. It has an opposing locking collar that keeps the auger from swinging and allows it to be turned around 180 degrees. You can attach Eterra's Cement Mixer Bowl to it and fill your fence post-holes after you dig them. How is that for dynamic?
Although experienced operators can also utilize the Flip Hitch on its own to rotate their auger drives for horizontal drilling, it is not designed for this and any failure while doing so would not be covered by warranty.
The Eterra Skid Steer Auger also features a planetary drive system that is second to none in North America. This is a unique design that solved a problem that Eterra had witnessed with other drive systems over the years: Shaft Pullout. The planetary drive system gearbox is where the shaft attaches in the back. A part of the shaft, the large thrust plate, is what attaches and makes sure the shaft stays on. The thrust plate distributes the weight evenly when it locks the shaft in place, ensuring it will never fall out.
This dynamic skid steer auger attachment can also be used with the Eterra Flip Hitch, the Eterra 47 Gallon Cement Mixer Bowl and the Eterra Stump Planer, including a number of adapters and extensions. The Eterra Auger Drive configuration you select includes hoses and flat-faced couplers. These dynamic features along with the strength, durability and longevity of this auger are what makes it the market leader and sets the standard for all that come after it.
