STEEL PRICES RISE:
The carbon steel market is poised to grow by 699.35 MT during 2020-2024 progressing at a CAGR of almost 8% during the forecast period." (Source: Business Wire)
This is what we are seeing all across the industry; day after day new emails from vendor's telling us that their prices are rising, every order we make for materials needs to be revised because the last price is no longer valid, and for good reason. The cost of steel materials has been steadily increasing throughout 2020, and it unfortunately has not slowed into 2021. The reduced capacities of companies in this industry due to Covid-19 health and safety regulations continues to have an impact. As a result, we are forced to increase our list pricing for 2021 and add a steel surcharge to off-set the rising costs that is projected to continue this year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have on our close and prospective customers. We we will do what we can to keep our prices low when the opportunities are found, but right now we are left with little options.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Eterra Box Grader Attachment for Skid Steer Loaders
The Eterra Box Grader is perfect for grading driveways, private roads, and pastures. Home owners, farmers, landscapers and contractors are going to get some extreme use out of a skid steer attachment that performs like the Eterra Box Grader. The Eterra Box Grader makes it simple for anyone to perform a wide range of tasks and make them look like they were done by professionals with almost no training at all. Whether you need to grade a road, a field or just final grade a landscape surface, this is the tool necessary to get the job done.
How Does It Work So Effectively?
There are many issues to overcome when using a skid steer for grading. The toughest issue is the constant rocking from the machine when you are in a heavy push. One wheel breaks free for an instant and allows the attachment to rock. The attachment digs in and the machine follows the contour and you just end up with a big mess. The Eterra box scraper design overcomes this issue by adding another contact base to the ground. The side rails are always in contact with the ground and weight is applied by the down pressure of the boom. This causes the blades to run constant regardless of what the skid steer is doing. When you are leveling a smooth base in front, the skid steer has a level surface to run on which in turn adds to the quality of the cut. Another issue when trying to grade a road is potholes. It is hard to dig them up without the machine tipping into the hole which causes your blade to dig another pothole just a few feet away. The aggressive nature of the blades makes sure you dig up the entire top surface with the pothole. The surface is then redistributed out the back of the box so you end up with a whole new surface and not just filled in pot holes.
What is Eterra's Secret?
Without giving away too much to the competition: It comes down to the four blade configuration. Two facing forward while two face the rear. You always have two blades cutting while two are spreading. This works while moving forward or in reverse which increases the efficiency of the attachment greatly. The drag surface area is just right to give you just enough float while being able to apply plenty of pressure to the cutting blades.
Testimonial from the President of Eterra
"In 1994 an old timer showed me a similar design of a drag box that he used to pull behind his tractor back in the 50's to grade large fields. I built one and started using it immediately and still do to this very day. We brought this to market in 1998 in a limited basis and full production in 2002. As you can see we have decades of experience with this attachment and we know how it works and why it works. When you buy this product from us, you are dealing with the inventor, designer and manufacturer. It does not get much better than that."
