The carbon steel market is poised to grow by 699.35 MT during 2020-2024 progressing at a CAGR of almost 8% during the forecast period." (Source: Business Wire)

This is what we are seeing all across the industry; day after day new emails from vendor's telling us that their prices are rising, every order we make for materials needs to be revised because the last price is no longer valid, and for good reason. The cost of steel materials has been steadily increasing throughout 2020, and it unfortunately has not slowed into 2021. The reduced capacities of companies in this industry due to Covid-19 health and safety regulations continues to have an impact. As a result, we are forced to increase our list pricing for 2021 and add a steel surcharge to off-set the rising costs that is projected to continue this year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have on our close and prospective customers. We we will do what we can to keep our prices low when the opportunities are found, but right now we are left with little options.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Product overview

Haugen Industrial and Standard Rod Grapples for Skid Steer Loaders

The Haugen Rod Grapples are made from heavy duty construction materials and are ideal for rock handling and other brush handling. Available in both standard rod grapple and industrial rod grapple grades, these are brutally tough and built for the extremes of rock handling where you want the excess material to fall through the bucket leaving you with just the larger debris.

The Industrial grapple features a heavy duty 1" x 1.5" rod design allows you handle larger rocks and not damage the bucket. With the standard grapple sporting 7/8” rods, it is no wimp either. The independently operated grapple jaws allow you to grab onto uneven objects and never let go. These are Skid Steer Solutions proven tough.

Testimonial from the Owner of Skid Steer Solutions

"Look around this site and see all of the quality products that we offer.  We are skid steer people and we build for our own use. After we do all the destructive testing and correct the deficiencies, we make them available for sale to the public.  This takes out a lot of the guess work and guarantees you a successful buying experience."

The secret to Haugen's success in the grapple game is simple. Top quality materials and the best design. Even more important, they spend time on assembly. They pre-heat dis-similar metals when welding so the weld actually penetrates and holds. Haugen bucket backs are reinforced to support the grapple so it does not tear out during heavy pulling.  Hauigen cylinders are skid steer rated for skid steer pressures, while many of the competitors use farm implement cylinders that are not rated for this use.

Haugen Grapple Uses

  • Barn Yard Work
  • Disaster Pick-up
