The hardened drive-in teeth are crucial for cutting through tough materials because they stay sharp and over time to give you consistent drilling performance. These teeth sit in a fishtail point at the tip of the auger that is helps stabilize the auger during the initial drill, it also helps to guide the auger through various soil types, reducing its natural tendency to wander.
Heavy-Duty Double Flighting removes material from the hole quickly. This reduces clogging and keeps drilling efficient, especially in heavy or sticky soils like clay.
