STEEL PRICES RISE:
The carbon steel market is poised to grow by 699.35 MT during 2020-2024 progressing at a CAGR of almost 8% during the forecast period." (Source: Business Wire)
This is what we are seeing all across the industry; day after day new emails from vendor's telling us that their prices are rising, every order we make for materials needs to be revised because the last price is no longer valid, and for good reason. The cost of steel materials has been steadily increasing throughout 2020, and it unfortunately has not slowed into 2021. The reduced capacities of companies in this industry due to Covid-19 health and safety regulations continues to have an impact. As a result, we are forced to increase our list pricing for 2021 and add a steel surcharge to off-set the rising costs that is projected to continue this year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have on our close and prospective customers. We we will do what we can to keep our prices low when the opportunities are found, but right now we are left with little options.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Eterra EX-30 Excavator Flail Mower
Introducing the new and improved V2 model of the EX-30 Excavator Flail Mower – a top-of-the-line Flail Mower that is built for clearing grass and tough brush up to 6” along roadsides, ditches, and other hard-to-reach areas. The EX-30 Flail Mower is equipped with 20, 2lb Y Knife flail blades that are powered by a Permco Hydraulic Gear Motor. The blade life expectancy is up to 500 hours with no rocks; however, additional blades and parts are always available as backups with your initial order or to purchase later as needed.
Now let's talk about the improvements to this unique and high-quality attachment: Eterra has been constantly adapting and listening to customers on how they can improve their mower to outperform others on the market, while maintaining the quality it is known for. The main advancements are in the material: the drive shaft material has been updated from Steel 4140 HT to DIN 17121 Grade ST52.3 Seamless tubing which reduces any weak points. The housing material has also been updated from A572 Grade 50 Steel to Hot Rolled Sheets of IS 2062 E350 grade steel. These improvements will boost durability and overall stress resistance, ensuring this mower sets the standard in the market.
This mower is designed for excavators that weigh 7,000-14,000 lbs. with a flow range of 8-26 GPM. If this model doesn't fit the requirements of your machine, visit the EX-30M model that is rated for 2,200-7,000 lb. Machines.
Note: Every excavator is different. Older models often utilize two pumps: one for stick and rotation control, and another for track drive and auxiliary flow (your mower). For machines that have this type of pump arrangement, it is not possible to drive the machine forward and cut at the same time. However, newer machines like Kubota and select Yanmar models boast three pumps, enabling simultaneous cutting and movement. For clarification on your machine's setup and capabilities, don't hesitate to contact our sales team for personalized assistance.
