Demo Unit Promac HSM60 Heavy Duty Skid Steer Forestry Mulcher. This unit has 100 hours on it and runs perfectly. The teeth only have several hours on them and are in good shape (see photos). Take advantage of a 15% discount on this perfectly good mulcher!
Description
The Promac HSM Skid Steer Drum Mulcher is powered with a variable torque bent axis motor that increases productivity through less drum speed decay and greater drum acceleration. The drum accepts multiple tooling options to fit within any budget, for any performance needs or ground conditions.
The drum itself has a Chip Production Rotor tooling system, also known as a "bite limiter" design, that makes sure you don't bite off more than you can chew, and controls discharge particle size. The drum also features easily replaceable hardened steel wire cutters that prevent wire from winding around the drive shaft between the end of the drum and frame, which prevents damage to the bearing seals. All of the holders and plates on the drum are manufactured from high strength steel for superior impact resistance and longevity.
The frame is made with fully welded high strength steel and a boxed in design, which provides more rigidity and keeps the HSM under 2,500 lbs for light-weight, yet durable machine strength and stability when operating. The frame is also low profile, which gives the attachment outstanding operator visibility and control. The leading edge of the attachment, where it makes contact with the ground, has a flat profile that allows 1" of controlled ground contact with minimal tilt. This makes it easy to leave a nice, well mulched finish without excessive ground contact that risks damaging the cutter teeth. This also limits material from ejecting under the machine during back dragging since the chain bar and frame still impede the material at this angle.
