This is what we are seeing all across the industry; day after day new emails from vendor's telling us that their prices are rising, every order we make for materials needs to be revised because the last price is no longer valid, and for good reason. The cost of steel materials has been steadily increasing throughout 2020, and it unfortunately has not slowed into 2021. The reduced capacities of companies in this industry due to Covid-19 health and safety regulations continues to have an impact. As a result, we are forced to increase our list pricing for 2021 and add a steel surcharge to off-set the rising costs that is projected to continue this year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have on our close and prospective customers. We we will do what we can to keep our prices low when the opportunities are found, but right now we are left with little options.

Eterra 4 Foot Skid Steer Trencher
Description
The Eterra 4 Foot Trencher for skid steers is ideal for constructing long industrial or personal property trenches in any soil conditions. The gear box is the same proven gear box you will find in the famously popular Eterra Auger Attachments, and customers are consistently impressive with the power (see reviews). A manual side shift system is included to allow you to trench alongside buildings and fences - skid steer operators who do this kind of work know the importance of this feature.
The planetary gear drive greatly increases torque, which is essential to trenching in hard rocky or frozen ground (We put a trench through a gravel driveway with ease - see photos). The unit is a simple design, and very self protected from the dirt and dust you're going to be displacing, meaning low maintenance costs. The teeth are another key component of this attachment. Over years of trial and error, Eterra discovered that a 70/30 ratio of Tungsten Cutter Teeth to Dirt Teeth is optimal. The aggressive cutter teeth allow you to cut through those tough conditions you're likely to encounter, and the dirt teeth provide excellent clearing of the trench. The 18" discharge auger and crumber bar do a great job of clearing the trench, leaving a cleaner trench than any other attachment we've seen. An Adjustable Skid shoe ensures consistent depth. You set the shoe to your desired depth and when the shoe rests flat on the ground, you can be sure you're at that depth.
So remember - High Torque, Cutter/Digging Teeth, and low maintenance costs are what you want in a trencher. Eterra just makes it look awesome as a bonus.
