Introducing the Hurricane Concrete Mixer

Same Power. New Name. All Eterra.
If you’ve been following Eterra for a while, you might know this product by its old name—the Mix and Go. But names evolve, and so do we. That’s why we’ve rebranded it as the Hurricane Concrete Mixer. It’s the same machine our customers rely on for consistent, no-nonsense performance—now with a name that better reflects what it does and who it’s made for.
Why Hurricane? Because this mixer doesn’t just sit there. It churns, whips, and pours like a storm—fast, controlled, and built to handle whatever you throw at it. It's a name that fits what this tool is really about: power, movement, and getting the job done right.
Built for Operators, Not Just Job Sites
We’ve talked to operators across the trades—concrete contractors, farmers, ranchers, utility crews—and they all say the same thing: most concrete buckets just store mix. The Hurricane is different. It mixes.
Inside, a set of Hardox® 450 steel paddles actively work the material, giving you a smooth, consistent batch without clumps or dry spots. Whether you’re working with dry bags, pre-mix, or slurry, the Hurricane delivers a ready-to-pour load that keeps pace with your job.
The bucket bottom is also built from Hardox® 450 - strong, reliable, and long lasting. It’s backed by a chain drive system that keeps mixing even when the rest of the site slows down.
Three Ways to Pour. One Purpose: Control.
Pouring concrete is about precision. If you're fighting your tools to place your material, you're already losing time and money. That’s why the Hurricane gives you three different discharge options:
- Hydraulic Center Discharge
Control the pour straight from your cab. The 8" outlet is designed for accuracy and ease—especially with the optional chute to guide material exactly where it needs to go.
- Manual Side Chute
Perfect for trench pours or tight spots. You stay in control with an adjustable gate that lets you regulate flow by hand—no guessing, no wasted material.
- Front Grate Discharge
When you need it fast and direct, the front grate opens for a quick dump. No delay. No cleanup drama. Just concrete where it belongs.
Not All Concrete Mixers Are Built the Same
Let’s be honest—there are other mixers out there. But when you’re relying on your equipment to deliver, cut corners and cheap builds just don’t cut it.
Take the Wolverine Skid Steer Concrete Mixer for example. At a glance, it looks similar: a basic drum, a hydraulic motor, and a discharge chute. But a closer look tells a different story.
- Wolverine’s design uses lighter gauge steel that doesn’t hold up under repeated use—especially when you're mixing heavier material or pouring every day.
- No active paddles inside the drum, which means it’s not really mixing—just tumbling. That leads to uneven batches, dry pockets, and more cleanup later.
- Fewer discharge options limit where and how you can pour. You get a center chute, and that's about it.
In short, it’s built for occasional use—not real jobsite performance.
Why the Hurricane is Different
The Eterra Hurricane is built for operators who do this every day. It’s overbuilt in all the right ways:
- Hardox® 450 steel paddles actively mix your batch—dry or wet—so your concrete is consistent from the first pour to the last.
- Heavy-duty Hardox® 450 bucket bottom and a chain-driven system that’s designed to take abuse and keep going.
- Multiple pour options—hydraulic, side chute, and front grate—give you control in every environment.
This isn’t about just getting the job done—it’s about getting it done right, without compromise.
If you're shopping by price, you’ll always find something cheaper. But if you're working by reputation, you buy gear that won't let you down.
Smarter Design = Less Downtime
We know the job doesn’t stop when the pour does. That’s why we’ve designed the Hurricane to be easy to maintain and reload:
- Liftable top grate for quick cleaning access
- Integrated bag splitter makes loading dry mix faster
- Four size options: 3.5, 9, 16, or 21 Cu. Ft. capacities to match your crew and your job.
Why It’s the Best Mixer on the Market
We don’t throw that claim around lightly. But here’s what sets the Hurricane apart:
- It mixes, it doesn’t just haul
- It gives you pour control from the cab or on the ground
- It’s built to last with materials that don’t back down
- It’s designed by a company that actually listens to the people using it
- Mounts on your Mini Skid Steer or Full-Sized Skid Steer.
This isn’t an entry-level tool. It’s a professional-grade mixer for crews and operators who need reliability, speed, and consistency—day in and day out.
Final Pour
We renamed the Mix and Go because this machine deserves more than a generic label. The Hurricane Concrete Mixer is a tool that reflects the work you do—deliberate, fast, and clean. Whether you're pouring pads on a ranch, foundations on a jobsite, or just knocking out your own projects on the weekend, this mixer puts you in control.
Eterra builds tools that work as hard as you do. The Hurricane is no exception.
