STEEL PRICES RISE:
The carbon steel market is poised to grow by 699.35 MT during 2020-2024 progressing at a CAGR of almost 8% during the forecast period." (Source: Business Wire)
This is what we are seeing all across the industry; day after day new emails from vendor's telling us that their prices are rising, every order we make for materials needs to be revised because the last price is no longer valid, and for good reason. The cost of steel materials has been steadily increasing throughout 2020, and it unfortunately has not slowed into 2021. The reduced capacities of companies in this industry due to Covid-19 health and safety regulations continues to have an impact. As a result, we are forced to increase our list pricing for 2021 and add a steel surcharge to off-set the rising costs that is projected to continue this year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have on our close and prospective customers. We we will do what we can to keep our prices low when the opportunities are found, but right now we are left with little options.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Product overview
Skid Steer Wheel Spacer - 2" Thick x 10" Diameter - 8 Lug - 5/8" Stud
We feel that this needs to be explained because these are the first aluminum wheel spacers made specifically for skid steer loaders that we know of on the Internet. Regarding the strength of these wheel spacers, there is no noticeable difference between a steel wheel spacer and an aluminum alloy wheel spacer and we offer a one year warranty on any rare defect. Over a small amount of time, a steel wheel spacer will become very rusty and the anodized aluminum alloy spacer won't. The aluminum wheel spacer weighs 8 lbs. and a steel wheel spacer weighs 21 lbs. Aluminum wheel spacers are used on all motor vehicles and Skid Steers are no different. You can look at any big truck going down the road, if it has wheel spacers then we have no doubt that they are aluminum.
Price shown is for 1 spacer
This is a standard wheel spacer that fits many different Skid Steer Machines, there are some brands that we can identify that this will fit but you should always measure your machine's hub and line it up with the specs provided in the title. If you are very unsure, we prefer you message us to ensure compatibility.
This is a premium quality alloy aluminum spacer that was designed specifically for Skid Steer Loaders. Skid Steer Solutions has been making and selling tracks since the mid 90's. We always had to buy our spacers from the major manufacturers and felt we were paying too much. With our help, we have driven the cost of standard spacers down by 50%. One of our customers needed spacers for his new series machines and sent us a copy of the invoice from his Bobcat dealer. We were shocked at the price and went to work on our new spacer design. We used a top grade aluminum alloy and anodized it. This makes it so easy to install and when you tighten the lugs down, the wheel will not move back and forth and loosend due to the the paint wearing off which happens with the painted wheel spacers.
The lugs are also 100% seated when you torque them so they are there to stay. We work with only high end CNC equipped machine shops and our quality is second to none. These are far in excess to what you find on the internet. They have to be because our name is on them.
You will receive a spacer or spacers that measure 10" in diameter and 2" thick. It will have 8 lugs with studs and nuts. Make sure you check your stud size and if they do not match this auction, check out our other sizes.
If you are adding tracks to a machine, then chances are you will need wheel spacers. Check out our awesome track selection as well. We have built our business around solutions for decades.
Canadian Shipments will incur an excess shipping charge for this item. Because it is a heavy item that cannot be truck shipped or mail shipped, we are forced to use UPS. They charge $100 more than it costs to ship this item in the USA so this charge must be passed on to you. Our system cannot add this charge so you will be contacted for an additional payment prior to shipping your order. Note: We will be contacting you after your order to arrange the original fee and shipping details.
Important Note:
When installing wheel spacers, you must torque them to 150 ft. lbs., run them for a while and then re-torque them to allow for wear in.
