| eTerra - Terra-Broom 72" Hydraulic Rotary Broom.
Here is an ingenius new product that will knock your socks off!
All of the brooms that we have tried so far suffer from visibility issues. You have this great big broom and housing way out in front of you. Then you have the mounts, pivot, cylinder and hoses right down in front. It makes it impossible to see how hard you are pushing down or if you are even following the ground contours. The answer is the new Terra-Broom. This unique design does away with the visibility issues and one other trait. When you lay the broom down, it automatically lifts the bristles up and off the ground. No more legs to set or struggle with. The control is so easy to set and forget that you will forget about it. This is another one of those products where you will look at it and say, why didn't I think of that?
What is included? The rotary broom and skid steer mount with hydraulic side to side control along with hoses and flat faced couplers. The broom does not come with the extra front dust hood or side gutter broom. These items must be ordered optionally. You can order an extended hood and other options by checking the appropriate option above.
How does it work?
Simply connect to it using your standard skid steer quick attach. Connect the hoses and go. By turning on your auxiliary hydraulics, you operate the broom. If you want to change the angle, reach out of your cab and hit the diverter valve control handle. Use your auxiliary flow directional control to angle the broom from left to right or right to left. Once you set your angle, reach back out of your cab and deselect the valve to return to broom operation.
What about the Gutter Broom?
The gutter broom is an option because not everyone needs this item. if you need to to get close to a curb or building and get the material away, then this is the tool for you. It requires no additional hydraulics. it runs right of the side drive of the broom. Total installaion is about a minute. Connecting and disconeecting this attachments takes seconds. it is just so simply, again you will ponder...Why didn't I think of that?
I see an additional cover on the front. What's that about?
If you need added dust control and do not want too much material flying in front of you, then this is for you. If you are brooming alot of damp material or snow, then skip this option.
