| Our Skid Steer Mounted Vibratory Plate Compactor is simply the best!
When we started this project we knew that plate compactors had been used for years on excavators with success so rather than re-invent the wheel, we decided to utilize what already existed and use our magic to make it work on a skid steer. Our expertise is in creating great products with a lot of value added, so we had to make this attachment with the same WOW factor that so many of our other attachments have so we engineered some really cool uses for this item.
First and foremost it is a plate compactor. It delivers 3400 lbs. of force at a frequency of 2100 VPM over an area of 17.4" x 20". Its uses include spot compacting as well as trench compacting. We recently filled a large trench for a water line and ran this machine down the trench after the spoils had been filled back in and it worked incredibly well. To run this machine is to feel the power, it really works and works hard for you.
Secondly, we have expertise in post pounding. These units were used by the excavator guys for years to pound posts, so guess what we did? We have these cups already. Our standard post pounder cups will go right on so you can pound posts. We are also developing a 4 foot and 5 foot compactor plate that will bolt right on so you will be able to use this as a true compactor.
But that's not all! Since these are universally adaptable, we added a quick coupler so you can connect this to the EH5000e backhoe boom which takes this compactor back to its roots, a boom mounted compactor. Using the EH5000e with HCS, you can hydraulically control the compactor and use the added reach to get closer to where it needs to be.
