| DG Series Box Blade 72" Wide x 18" High - Demo Sale - We have 1 demo unit that just came back. Has about 4 hours of use on it. Customer bought a bigger model.
This is by far the most far reaching product that we have ever produced! Home owners, farms, landscapers and contractors are going to see this as a useful tool immediately.
Why? You ask? The EZ-Grader makes it simple for anyone to perform a wide range of tasks and make them look like they were done by professionals with almost no training at all. Whether you need to grade a road, a field or just final grade a landscape surface, this is the tool. We even used this on our motocross track to smooth out the jump approaches and for the starting Whoops. My kids love to use this.
How is this possible? There are many issues to overcome when using a skid steer for grading. The toughest issue is the constant rocking from the machine when you are in a heavy push. One wheel breaks free for an instant and allows the attachment to rock. The attachment digs in and the machine follows the contour and you just end up with a big mess. The EZ-Grader overcomes this issue by adding another contact base to the ground. The side rails are always in contact with the ground and weight is applied by the down pressure of the boom. This causes the blades to run constant regardless of what the skid steer is doing. Because you are leveling a smooth base in front, the skid steer has a level surface to run on which in turn adds to the quality of the cut.
Another issue when trying to grade a road is potholes. It is hard to dig them up without the machine tipping into the hole which causes your blade to dig another pothole just a few feet away. The aggressive nature of the blades makes sure you dig up the entire top surface with the pothole. The surface is then redistributed out the back of the box so you end up with a whole new surface and not just filled in pot holes.
Just what is the secret? Without giving away too much to our competitors, we can say this. It comes down to the four blade configuration. Two facing forwards while two face the rear. You always have two blades cutting while two are spreading. This works while moving forward or in reverse which increases the efficiency of the attachment greatly. The drag surface area is just right to give you just enough float while being able to apply plenty of pressure to the cutting blades.
This is just another winning attachment. These are now available but are in short supply so order early so you are not disappointed.
